Sarah is a witty, sharp, intensely creative, passionate human. Towering at a staggering 6,048 pixels tall, she’s always had a knack for connecting and coming up with beautiful and responsive ideas and creations. Armed with a BFA in Graphic Design, she has had an experience-based understanding of the art and design world for over a decade.

I lean towards over thinking. My brain has a hard time accepting Occum’s Razor. I’m both organized and messy at the same time. I don’t have a structured flow and paint very organically. There’s a deeper feeling to my paintings that try to freeze moods with color. There’s this effervescent quality in my bright colorful paintings that can jump out at you and give you a hug.

Each exploration in a painting tends to focus on a question or issue I have in the real world. It is a very positive form of self reflection. Painting for me is  one of those quiet individual jewels that helps me let go and fall into my own little world for a while.

I am unique in that I have worked with both small start-ups and large established organizations. I have demonstrated an ability to adapt to each client’s unique dynamics and deliver results that are immediately usable within their respective companies. I have helped my clients provide new and more value through creative storytelling, branding, and promotional activities in past projects.

While I reside in the Houston area, this lovely invisible thread that connects us all digitally allows me to work for anyone anywhere. I am truly thrilled you are here and would love to assist you on your next design adventure.

TRAVELING BIO

I have moved a lot! Which has shown a fair amount of challenges. Every two years we would pack up and move to another state or country. By the time you settled with paperwork in one you’d be packing up for another. 

I worked the 9-5 for some time as a graphic designer and marketing director in the States before we started moving. Due to my husband’s career, we have moved to five states and three countries.

I still had the opportunity to freelance through our moves and build a business on the go. The constant uncertainty of never knowing where we would be transferred to next has taught me to be more flexible, patient, understanding, and prone to accept life when things go wrong. Thankfully we have settled down in the moving process, which has allowed me to dedicate more time to creative design which I love. My strength is CREATIVITY!

Painting has always been there for me to unwind and explore whether I’ve lived in a small apartment with 60 mph winds and icy snow outside or living on the 40th story in a sweltering concrete jungle on the equator. Though moving  HAS allowed me to see beautiful corners of the world which I am grateful for.
